Antiphonals were books containing the sung portions of the Divine
Office. The manuscript leaf offered here is large, typical of the
medieval book, so it could be shared by a choir.
6 bars of music on each side
hand-written on vellum. Recto contains a tall "A" hand scribed in red
ink and a large "Q" in black ink. Verso includes a large "T". A
lovely, large leaf. Likely early 16th century.
