Leaf from a 15th century gradual. Graduals were the principal choir
books for the mass. 7 4-line bars of music on each side
hand-written in black ink with red rubrics on vellum. verso
contains large red initial "I" extending about halfway down left side of
leaf. Additionally, verso contains large initial D adorned
with two human faces and yellow decorations. Some
staining to lower margin.
Size: 346 x 261 mm (approx 13.6 x 10.3 inches).
