Antiphonals were books containing the sung portions of the Divine
Office. The manuscript leaf offered here is large, typical of the
medieval book, so it could be shared by a choir.

written on vellum. 6 bars of music on each side.
Lyrics hand scribed in black ink with red rubrics. Music on 5 line
red stave Recto: lovely large initial in blue with red penwork.
Verso: large initial in black. Some minor fading to verso.
Recto in excellent condition with very minor staining to left lower
border. A beautiful leaf!
