Leaf from a 15th century French Book of Hours.
15 lines of text on each side written in a fine batarde hand in
brown-black ink with red rubrics on vellum. 12 single line
initials in alternating gold and red and blue. Lovely black and
red penwork extends from several initials. Verso contains small
band of hair follicles from original vellum. A lovely leaf!
