Antiphonals were books containing the sung portions of the Divine
Office. The manuscript leaf offered here is large, typical of the
medieval book, so it could be shared by a choir.
The leaf contains a tall 5 line illuminated "I". On the verso, there are 13 lines of Latin in Gothic script. A large, bright and clean leaf hand scribed on vellum. Size: 585 x 405 mm (approx 23 x 16 inches).
