Antiphonals were books containing the sung portions of the Divine
Office. The manuscript leaf offered here is large, typical of the
medieval book, so it could be shared by a choir.
Recto contains a tall 5 line large initial and 5 lines of Latin in gothic script on vellum. Verso contains 5 bars of music and 5 additional lines of text. Size: 590 x 390 mm (approx 23.2 x 16.0 inches).
